Thermal-Coagulation uses a small Probe and Radio High Frequency to cauterize spots in the Epidermal layer of the skin. The treatments do not leave a scar, due to staying in the upper most layers of the skin. The skin heals similar to a small scratch or surface burn, pink when first healed, then returns to normal skin tone typically over 7-21 days, depending on the size of the area treated. Due to size or thickness, some spots may need more than one treatment. Thermal-Coagulation is a progressive, not agressive, treatment. 

Thermal- Coagulation works very well and quickly to remove Skin Tags, raised, rough skin lesions refered to as Keratosis, Brown pigmented spots and gently cauterizes Broken Capillaries and Red Cherry Angiomas.

I charge by my time.

$35 minimum for the first 15 minutes, no matter if you have 1 or 5 spots.

It's $1 a minute after the first 15 minutes.

Total cost will very.

Example: Client #1 had one treatment fo 50 minutes = $70 ... Client #2 spent 30-40 minutes per 4 sessions. He had over 100 tags removed. Because of the Heat involved in the procedure I don't like to spend too much time if you have  a lot of large spots.

Some spots are treated very quickly and others take more time. The smaller and flatter, the quickest.

Pre & Post Treatment advice

* Avoid blood thinning medications for 5 days before treatment such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen etc. If you are on a prescription for anti-coagulant blood thinng, do not stop taking it without consulting with your doctor. Taking such medications is a contraindiction to be treated.

*Avoid sun exposure 48 hours before and 72 hours after treatment to avoid blood vessel dilation and the formation of brown spots.

* Avoid using oily or alcohol based products, soap or foundation for 24 hrs after. Mineral powders are allowed.

* Apply soothing antiseptic, aloe or cold compress to calm the area if needed.

* Avoid friction and do not touch, pick or scratch the area.

*After the crusts fall off on their own in about 5-10 days, you may exfoliate and moisturize the area.

*Underarms: Do not use deodorant for 24 hours after treatment.

Possible Side Effects

* Reddening of the treated area

* Slight swelling of the tissue resembling a mosquito bite

* Heat and/or itching sensations

Due to this histamine reaction, to ease the effects taking a Benadryl could help

These effects will only last 30 min to a few hours
